Items On Our Agenda Include: South Bend Mayor Steve Lueke signed an executive order banning discrimination in hiring, firing, and promotion on the basis of sexual orientation. This gives city employees a right to complain to the Human Rights Commission if he or she feels he or she has been discriminated against because of sexual orientation. The next step is to get the South Bend City Council to make a similar ban on discrimination.
There will be food and fun, and some discussion on current issues. Come out and meet the members of IUSB Equality.
